Further planting for more stations
Newport ‘The Medina Centre’

Doug Wills and the ‘Ground Force’ crew have not only been busy with a new contract to build new planters over the winter for all of the stations (minus Esplanade, no point until we know what is ‘occurring’ there!) they have also grown all of the plants to go in them.
If this wasn’t enough they still have the ongoing job of replenishing the planters and baskets for both Sandown and Shanklin and when Bobby Lock asked them if they could “just add another planters etc 4 for Smallbrook”, even this didn’t faze the hardy team!
They all just got on with the production line of baskets, planters and alot of plants!

They have done brilliantly and though beset with being short staffed through various disasters (get well soon Sam!) they have managed to start delivering them to the stations, Ryde being the first.
However, this wasn’t without its problems as when Doug delivered the planters on the Friday, he was horrified on arriving on the Monday with the plants and soil to find all eight disappeared! The problem was soon sorted (if you want to know more go to my blog!) and as you can see Ryde’s are done and look lovely. I have already had lots of comments from people who are also pleased with the improved look and I will update the project page as all of them are delivered.
